Taking Care of Gramps – February 23, 2021

“You take your pain med, Lloyd?  Don’t nod.  Bet you didn’t.  Swallow, you old coot!”

“Gramps!  Where’s Gram?  Never mind. Just popped-in to see you took your med before breakfast.  Here.  Swallow!  See you this afternoon.”

“Mr. Dewey, you take your pain med?  Stop making faces.  Swallow.  Attaboy. Now, off to breakfast!”

“Mr. Dewey, always like to start breakfast right. Let’s take your pain med. Stop shaking your head at me.  Swallow, then we’ll have breakfast.”

“Old fool probably didn’t take his med.  So forgetful!  The aides forced it down him just before he went unconscious.”

    1. Francisco – thank you for stopping by. Today much different from last week, but the damage has been done. Mind yourself and loved-ones while there is unrest in your country. Take time to communicate with your elected officials that the police should be supported and allowed to consider assault with bricks and stones exactly that, “assaults” and those assaulting criminals to be jailed, and (courts willing) sentenced to service to recover the damages they have caused. Courts not listening? Another crusade – the difference being non-rioting citizens go about it the correct way. But changes CAN be made. Take care. SP

      1. Thank you SP, we all hope and pray for a night of peace and that these criminals be stopped and arrested and made to pay for the damage they’ve caused. Stay well and I hope the damage by the weather wasn’t too bad. Good night and all the best,
