Apologies – December 9, 2020

I hate my therapist.  Sometimes he’s so obtuse.

Was there ever a time you should have said, “I’m sorry,” but didn’t?
Were you then?
Was I what then?
Why would you say ‘I’m sorry” if you weren’t?
To make someone feel better.
Can I assume then, there were times you weren’t sorry but said so anyway?
And that made you feel better?  That you made someone feel better?
I see.  Was there ever a time you were sorry and didn’t say so?
Why not?
They should have been sorrier.
How did that make you feel?
That they weren’t sorry?
Okay, yes.

Willing to bet he’s still sorting all that out.

    1. Thanks for dropping-in. Head games: trained in high school and for a few years after by some of the High Masters, and you know where I am going with that.
